CMS Core & Plugin Updates
Content management systems (like WordPress) put out regular updates just like other software providers. Sometimes these updates patch security issues, sometimes they could include new feature releases. Regardless, our maintenance packages typically take care of handling these updates as well as taking backups of your site prior to updating in case something goes wrong.
Offsite Backups
Speaking of backups, your website needs one (if not multiple). We can take backups of your website and store it in multiple locations. The most common location we store our offsite backups is Amazon S3 (yep, the same server technology that powers Amazon)
Uptime Monitoring
If your website is not up and running, it’s not working for you! We monitor your website 24×7 and can alert you if we notice any issues with accessing it.
Database Cleanups
Think of your website data as a giant Excel spreadsheet. As time goes on, that spreadsheet can get clogged with old data. We can fix that by running commands on the database to clear out the bloat. This makes your website run faster.
Security Scans
We have software that can scan your website on a regular basis to catch and prevent hacking attempts before they get in.
